As for Ms. Mulaney...I still have my moments of grief and depression. I'm glad to be able to see a little bit of what goes on in her life, and every once in a while I can feel my heart really warming up. I do love her. If I had gotten to typing this post earlier, I might have had more to say.
Someone has told me that I'm not old enough to see the movie Us, which reminds me of something from a couple weeks ago. Upon going through the checkout at Walmart, R-rated films give off a beeping sound, and the cashier has to confirm whether you're at least 18 years old or not. The cashier this one day wanted to stress to me that some of the DVDs had mature content, and he was uncertain whether I was old enough or not. I told him that I'm 21, because apparently I looked like a 15 year-old to him. Even if I was 15, I probably would have seen plenty of mature films by that point in my life. It is extremely common nowadays. I have seen parents take their small children to Deadpool 2 and The Shape of Water, for crying out loud. In the latter case, the parents quickly regretted their decision. With this person who told me that I'm not old enough to see Us, I'm wondering if he has been looking at the Tables of Content entries on this website and has noted some of the ridiculous age-assignments Common Sense Media has given to several movies. I post the MPAA and Common Sense Media areas for comparison and contrast to what I put, as well as for those people who feel more comfortable sticking with the systems they have relied on all this time. I disagree a lot with the content grades I find. Be glad I don't include scores from the Dove Foundation.
